The following notes..

text
Italic text has been preserved, as have é ü etc.
In the Size or weight column of the main catalogue, the printer used symbols for Jupiter, Mars and Saturn, these have been replaced with the names, as the printer used for the moon, Venus and the sun.
In 99% of entires the Remarks column is only a single line, additionial information being given as footnotes. I have placed the text of these footnotes into the remarks column.
One symbol vertically that appears in the catalogue, I have left as an image, it is not explained in the introduction. I think from its usage it means "vertically".
some observations on the catalogue order
Being aware of the problems of introducing errors or mis-transcriptions from the catalogue, I have tried to reproduce it as is
While most of the entires seem to go up in ascending date order, there are a few instances where it does not. e.g. in 1849 entries start Jan. through to Dec. 30, it then reverts to Dec. 4, Aug. 11, and Nov. 1 before starting 1850.
Some differences with other catalogues
Chassigny in 1815, Greg gives a time of 8:15pm, whereas the Graham/Bevins catalog gives the time as 8:00am.
